Handcuffs and Tear Gas Used Against Lawyer: Sos Hakobyan
Member of the 'Homeland' party council and spokesperson, lawyer Sos Hakobyan has written about violence against a colleague.
“Another manifestation of audacity and crime—handcuffs and tear gas were used against a lawyer while he was trying to protect his client from the assault of criminal police officers... We must unite; there is no other way,” he wrote.
The lawyer who allegedly suffered violence is Karen Alaverdyan. It was previously reported that while fulfilling professional duties at the central police station, the lawyer was subjected to violence by police department officers and patrolmen.
