A new landfill that meets European standards will be designed and constructed in an area of about 29 hectares adjacent to the existing landfill in Nubarashen. This was announced today, June 12, during a routine administrative meeting at the Yerevan City Hall.
It was reported that a technical and economic study has already been carried out in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the most suitable option has been selected to implement the project as soon as possible.
The report has been submitted to the government, and after approval, the community will apply to the EBRD, after which the design phase will begin.
