Absurd and Unfounded Charges: Trump
Former American President Donald Trump has labeled the charges against him regarding the handling of classified government documents as absurd and an example of abuse of power by the White House.
“The absurd and unfounded charge directed at me by the Department of Justice, which has become a weapon in the hands of President Joe Biden’s administration, will remain in our country’s history as one of the most vile examples of abuse of power,” he said during a speech at the Republican convention in Georgia, as reported by American media.
In his opinion, the Department of Justice treats the Republican Party “entirely differently than it does Democrats.” Trump asserted that he has “nothing to hide” and has allowed investigators to review any documents of interest.
