Attempted Sexual Assault on 9-Year-Old Girl in Davitashen School Yard
An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on June 8, as reported by shamshyan.com. Around 7:00 PM, a 51-year-old resident of Yerevan, S.G., approached the Davitashen police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and reported that an unknown individual had deceived his 9-year-old daughter into the school yard of one of the Davitashen schools and attempted to commit a sexual assault against her.
The child is in the 4th grade of one of the schools in Davitashen. The police are undertaking the necessary operational and investigative measures to identify and locate the perpetrator. The Davitashen police department is preparing materials regarding the fact of the attempted sexual assault.
