Trump Faces 38-count Indictment
Former US President Donald Trump has been indicted on 38 counts, including the illegal retention of classified documents related to national security and providing false statements. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing the indictment summary.
Trump, who denies the charges against him, has been summoned to a Miami court next Tuesday.
The list approved by the grand jury includes 31 counts such as “willful concealment of information related to national defense,” “conspiracy to obstruct justice,” “concealment of documents or records,” and “false statements and testimonies.” Each of these counts carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
