Employees of NSS to Benefit from Affordable and Preferential Mortgage Loan Program

The government made a change to one of its previous decisions aimed at improving the housing conditions of national security agency personnel during its meeting on June 8.

The Deputy Director of the NSS, Tigran Harutyunyan, presenting the project, noted that the proposal aims to make NSS personnel who serve in the armed forces eligible beneficiaries of the state support program established for the acquisition or construction of housing. This will contribute to the process of enhancing the quality and expertise of personnel in national security agencies and increase the attractiveness of service.

“If the project is approved, starting from 2024, 40 personnel from national security agencies will have the opportunity each year to benefit from a state-supported affordable and preferential long-term mortgage loan program,” said the NSS Deputy Director. He also mentioned that after the adoption of the project, it will require approximately 157 million AMD annually from the state budget.
