Israel Will Not Allow Iran to Become a Second North Korea: Israeli Foreign Ministry
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, during his visit to Seoul on June 7, called for an end to Iran's nuclear program to prevent the country from becoming a second 'North Korea.'
During the visit, Cohen met with South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin.
'South Korea is facing a nuclear threat. And they, like us, understand the danger that a nuclear Iran presents to global peace and stability,' said Cohen.
He noted that he discussed 'ways to curb Iran's nuclear program' with his South Korean counterpart, expressing the opinion that it can only be halted through 'serious sanctions combined with a real military threat.'
