Video: 30 Dead and Over 300 Injured in Train Collision in India

In India, a collision between a passenger train and a freight train has resulted in 30 fatalities, with more than 300 reported injuries, according to local media.

Near the city of Balasore, the passenger train collided with the freight train around 19:20 local time (17:50 Yerevan time). Four carriages of the passenger train derailed. NDTV reports that there are over 300 injured.

According to Hindustan Times, 30 people have died. The passenger train was traveling on the Kolkata-Chennai route.

Fifty ambulances have arrived at the collision site, along with paramedics from nearby hospitals and more than 100 members of the national disaster response force.
