The Artsakh Defense Army has issued a statement regarding the announcement made by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
“The statement from Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry alleging that Defense Army units opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied territories of the Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh around 18:00 on June 2 is yet another instance of misinformation,” the Artsakh Defense Ministry's press service stated.
