Photographs: Vehicle Found, Soldiers Missing. MoD on Two Soldiers Gone Missing Since Yesterday

The vehicle used by two soldiers of the RA Armed Forces, which has been missing since May 26 at 19:00, has been found on an inter-branch road. The vehicle was loaded with food and water intended for combat positions, reports the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

On May 26, Azerbaijani media and subsequently the State Border Service of Azerbaijan spread disinformation alleging that the Armenian side attempted a diversionary infiltration and that two RA Armed Forces soldiers were arrested.

We reiterate that the statement made by the Azerbaijani border service regarding an alleged diversionary infiltration attempt by the Armenian side is absolutely false and disinformation. The Armenian side has sufficient evidence to refute this claim, which will be presented to international partners.

In the found vehicle, there is also a weapon attached to one of the soldiers, which indicates that even if the soldiers had exited the vehicle and lost their way, they could not have had diversionary intentions.
