Russia Plans to Open Consulate in Kapan
Russia is planning to open a consulate in the city of Kapan, located in Armenia's Syunik Province, sources in the Russian diplomatic circles have informed CivilNet.
According to the source, the final agreement regarding the consulate was reached during the bilateral meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Russia on May 25.
Preparatory work is underway for the opening of the Russian consulate in Kapan, but specific timelines are still unknown.
It is noteworthy that on October 21, 2022, the Iranian Consulate was opened in Kapan.
