United Kingdom to Begin Training Ukrainian Soldiers on F-16 Fighter Jets
The United Kingdom will serve as the platform for the first phase of training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets. According to Foreign Policy, the UK will be the first country to commence primary training for Ukrainian soldiers on American F-16s.
Twenty specialists proficient in English will participate in the courses. Despite long-term pledges of support to Ukraine, NATO countries have increasingly been stepping back from training Ukrainian pilots.
Italy and Spain have already announced their inability to prepare armed forces due to the absence of F-16s in their air forces.
