INTER WINS ITALIAN CUP
In the final of the Italian Cup, Inter faced Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Inter triumphed over Fiorentina with a score of 2-1. The scoring was opened by Fiorentina player Nicolás González in the 3rd minute.
Inter's Lautaro Martínez became the author of a double, scoring goals in the 29th and 37th minutes of the match.
Thus, Inter became the holder of the Italian Cup for the 9th time in history and for the 2nd time consecutively. It is noteworthy that former Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan did not participate in the game due to injury.
