Eiffel Tower Olympic Flame Installation Option Under Consideration

The organizing committee of the Paris Summer Olympic Games is considering the option of installing the Olympic flame on the Eiffel Tower. This information was reported by Reuters.

It remains unclear whether the flame will stay on the tower for the duration of the event or if it will only be present during the opening ceremony.

The project has been under discussion for two years. It has been noted that the Olympic flame cannot be installed at the top of the Eiffel Tower due to the presence of antennas and the risk of lightning, among other factors.
