If We Stop Delivering Weapons Today, Ukraine's End Will Come Tomorrow
Germany's Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius has stated that if arms deliveries to Kyiv are halted today, Ukraine's end will come by tomorrow, according to RIA Novosti citing the German TV channel Welt.
“If we stop the arms deliveries today, Ukraine's end will come tomorrow,” the head of Germany's defense agency said, adding that the country does not want to allow such an outcome.
In this way, Pistorius responded in the Bundestag to a question from non-affiliated MP Robert Farle regarding why Germany is not pursuing a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine and instead is supplying arms to the country.
It was also noted that the MP accused Pistorius of dragging Germany further into the conflict through the retraining of Ukrainian military personnel.
