VIDEO: "Developers are required to install dust-catching nets," Tigran Avinyan

Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan has addressed the issue of dust emissions and the lack of appropriate equipment on construction sites. According to him, in accordance with legislative regulations, developers are obligated to install dust-catching nets on construction sites. "This also applies to our builders who are carrying out improvements in various parts of the city," he stated.

He also discussed the involvement of representatives from the State Environmental Inspectorate in this matter.

Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonian added that the list of companies that received construction permits since January 2021 will be provided to the State Environmental Inspectorate for monitoring.
