VIDEO: Large Number of Police Guard Government Building

A significant police presence has been deployed to oversee the Government building as citizens protesting against the detention of the mother of fallen soldier Zhora Martirosyan have gathered nearby. Although the protesters have not reached the Government building itself, hundreds of police officers have formed multiple lines in front of the structure.

The protesters, who have stopped near the French Embassy in Armenia, are calling for her release, chanting "Freedom for Gayane!" The march is being monitored by a large number of police forces.
