PM Pashinyan: Discussions on the Return of Prisoners Will Continue in Upcoming Meetings
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the negotiations held in Brussels regarding the restoration of the Armenia-Azerbaijan railway. He noted that, taking into account past experiences, he would refrain from any specific statements.
“I can only mention that Armenia is ready to implement the opening of communications outlined in the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, and the trilateral statement of January 11, 2021, as soon as possible, based on the principles of sovereignty, legality, equality, and mutuality,” he stated.
Speaking about the release of prisoners, he indicated that there is a certain understanding on this topic as well. “Considering the highly sensitive nature of the issue, I will say that discussions on this topic will continue in the upcoming meetings,” he added.
