Turkey Will Take Additional Measures If the 'Nemesis' Memorial Is Not Dismantled, Says Cavusoglu

In a live broadcast on Turkish TV channel ТЕМ, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu commented on the installation of a memorial dedicated to Armenian avengers who organized the 'Nemesis' operation in Yerevan, as well as discussing the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and making several unfounded claims.

“Of course, there are direct flights. Our Pegasus airline is, I think, flying at this moment. Aircraft are flying to Europe and other places through our airspace. We only allowed the speaker of the Armenian Parliament to come to Turkey because the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly is an international gathering; this is an exception. However, apart from that, including VIP flights, we will not allow any further flights,” added Cavusoglu.

He further threatened that Turkey would not be satisfied with merely closing its airspace and would continue to take additional measures if the 'Nemesis' memorial is not dismantled. “It is impossible for us to accept this. We clearly see that they have no good intentions. Excuse me, but let them not say that it is not our authority; let them not try to deceive us,” concluded the Turkish Foreign Minister.
