Zangezur Corridor is Important Not Only for Azerbaijan and Armenia but Also on a Global Scale: Aliyev
The Zangezur Corridor has significant potential and could become one of the continuations of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, as well as part of the "North-South" corridor.
This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the fourth international conference held in the occupied Armenian city of Shushi, themed "Formation of Geopolitics of Greater Eurasia: From the Past to the Present and Future," which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the country's national leader Heydar Aliyev.
He emphasized that the Zangezur Corridor is important not only for Azerbaijan and Armenia but also on a global scale. "Because we expect an increase in the volume of cargo and the number of shipments. The more routes we have, the better," he noted.
