We Are Doing Everything to Ensure Baku-Stepanakert Dialogue: Yeghoyan
“We are currently doing everything to ensure that the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue takes place. This means that Stepanakert should participate in the negotiations as a subject,” said Arman Yeghoyan, a member of the National Assembly’s Civil Contract faction, during a briefing with reporters.
The Voice of America, citing the State Department, reported that Baku and Yerevan are discussing the rights and security of ethnic minorities. When asked whether the issue of the right to self-determination for Nagorno-Karabakh has been downplayed, Yeghoyan noted that “The Voice of America” has already removed that news.
“It refers to their source, which is a senior official from the State Department. That news has already been removed from the source site, which indicates the credibility of the report,” added Yeghoyan.
