Azerbaijan Demands Armenian Monks to Leave Dadivank

According to Azerbaijani media, the authorities of Azerbaijan are demanding Armenian monks to vacate Dadivank. This call was made by Mubarez Gurbanli, the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan.

“The Armenians have nothing to do with it, the monastery belongs to Caucasian Albania (Aghvank), and sooner or later it will be managed by the Albanian-Judaic religious community,” stated Gurbanli.

Thus, Azerbaijani authorities have begun to systematically destroy Armenian cultural and religious heritage in the occupied territories.
