VIDEO: We Will Demand the Removal of Russians from Power in Artsakh - Arthur Osipyan
The UN is not responding to our calls because we have never stated that the Russian peacekeepers have failed in their duties. This was announced today, on May 1, in the Stepanakert Freedom Fighters’ Park by the leader of the Artsakh Revolutionary Party, Arthur Osipyan.
“The authorities of Artsakh have always thanked the Russian peacekeepers even when we have lost Khankendi, Hin Tagher, and Parukh, resulting in casualties and territorial concessions. The fault of the Artsakh authorities is that they have never once informed the international community that the Russian peacekeepers are not fulfilling their duties. When we force the Russians to do two things - either open the corridor or declare that they are unable to do so - that will already be a solution. In such a case, we will have real grounds to demand that the international community and the UN fulfill their obligations. But until now, they keep saying ‘thank you Russia,’ even when the Russians are obviously selling us out. The international community will look at us as they do now, meaning they won't lift a finger. We will demand from the authorities of Artsakh to remove the Russians from power, either-or,” he emphasized.
