Pelosi Discusses Her Life-Threatening Trip to Ukraine

Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has stated that her visit to Ukraine last year was quite dangerous. This was reported by The Hill.

According to her, during the trip, she was in a war zone and realized that she could potentially die. “It was dangerous, and we thought we might die because we were visiting a serious war zone. We had excellent protection, but nevertheless, there was war there,” Pelosi said.

As noted by the former House Speaker, she spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during her visit. She also added that she met him on the street, which demonstrated his courage.
