The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

“A citywide clean-up event took place today. It was a day to clean and care for our city, with active participation from residents of all administrative districts. It is symbolic that today also marks the Day of the Citizen of the Republic of Armenia. Taking care of our city and country and making it better is the best way to celebrate this day. Let’s keep our home clean every day.”
