Tucker Carlson, Who Departed from Fox News, Talks on Forbidden Topics in American Media

Tucker Carlson, the former host of Fox News who was let go on April 24, has stated that certain topics are not covered in American media and are prohibited from discussions in news outlets. He discussed these issues in a video message posted on his Twitter account.

Among the topics he listed are demographic changes, national resources, civil liberties, and the development of science. According to him, these are "future-defining questions" that are, however, "taboo in American media."

He remarked that this situation arises due to the influence of the two political parties in the United States and their donors. Furthermore, the journalist claimed that the "debates" currently taking place in the country’s media are "incredibly idiotic," "completely irrelevant," and "mean nothing." He believes that in five years, no one will even remember them.

The former host did not specify the circumstances surrounding his departure from Fox News but added at the end of his message that they would meet again soon.

Carlson had hosted Tucker Carlson Tonight on the Fox News channel since 2016. The program was one of the most popular shows on American television, surpassing the ratings of CNN and MSNBC, according to NBC News.

Fox News stated that the decision for Carlson’s departure was made in agreement between the television presenter and the network’s management. The host had frequently criticized the actions of the American administration. Last June, he said that the country’s administration was intentionally pushing the European Union to impose an embargo on Russian oil imports. In April, he discussed the failures Ukraine faced during military operations and the related "hysteria" in the United States.
