Illegal Logging Reported in Dendropark

Another operational report on illegal logging was conducted by the Tavush division of the police's criminal investigation department on April 25.

According to the information, during the period from April 8 to 19, the 61-year-old director of the Dendropark, known as Soranners, had allowed a worker to cut down 35 pines. However, on April 25, police discovered 129 pine logs, measuring 2.2 meters in length and varying in diameter, within the territory of the Dendropark.

The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation. A criminal case has been initiated at the Berd investigative division.
