Russian Defense Ministry Reports Ceasefire Violation in Martakert Region

A ceasefire violation has been recorded in the Martakert region. There have been no casualties or injuries. This was stated in the report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on April 24.

The report notes that the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent is investigating this incident. According to the report, on April 23, 2023, as a result of unilateral and uncoordinated actions, the Azerbaijani side has blocked traffic along the Lachin corridor, specifically in the area of peacekeeping post number 1 (over the Khakari River bridge).

The peacekeeping contingent's command is conducting negotiations with the Azerbaijani side.
