Adam Schiff to Introduce Bill Recognizing Independence and Sovereignty of Artsakh in Congress

The Vice Chair of the Congressional Armenian Caucus, Adam Schiff, is set to introduce a bill in Congress calling for the recognition of the independence and sovereignty of Artsakh, as well as condemning Azerbaijan's aggression.

“Tomorrow morning, I will present a bill to recognize Artsakh, the independence and sovereignty of Artsakh. This will officially acknowledge the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination,” said Adam Schiff.

The Congressman also expressed concern regarding the potential aggression being prepared by Azerbaijan. He noted that the humanitarian crisis resulting from the blockade is worsening.

To influence the situation, Schiff stressed the importance of engaging all Congress members to exert pressure on the U.S. administration.
