Daughter of Arrested in Davit Tonoyan Case Dismissed from Work
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: "For nearly two years, the daughter of the former head of the aviation department of the General Staff, Avetik Muradyan, who was arrested in the criminal case of former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, has been dismissed from her job. She worked at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
"Zhoghovurd" learned that the daughter of the recently arrested department head was to receive the rank of captain on April 16, but since the contract expired on April 13, the newly appointed Minister of Emergency Situations, Kamo Tsutsulyan, did not wish to extend the contract with her, dismissing the official’s daughter without even granting her the rank of captain. This is yet another example of political repression."
