Relatives of Arrested Azerbaijani Soldiers in Armenia Appeal to the European Court of Human Rights
Relatives of Azerbaijani soldiers who were recently arrested in Armenia have appealed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), demanding that Armenian authorities ensure their safety and provide medical assistance.
Azerbaijani media reports that following the release of videos and photos that document instances of violence against Azerbaijani soldier Hussein Akhundov and Akshin Babirov, their families have called on the ECHR to apply interim measures against Armenia.
The appeal specifically calls for the Armenian authorities to ensure the safety of the Azerbaijani soldiers, provide them with medical assistance, and furnish information regarding their whereabouts, conditions of detention, and health status.
