Second Azerbaijani Detained in Armenia Transferred to NSS

The police have transferred the Azerbaijani identified in the village of Ajanan, Kapan community in the Syunik province, to the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia. This information was reported by the press service of the Armenian police.

Recall that on April 10, it became known that Azerbaijani individuals had appeared in the rural community of Bnuni in Sisian the day before. One of the residents pressed the doorbell, and upon opening the door, the woman immediately contacted the police. Later, the Ministry of Defense confirmed the information, indicating that one Azerbaijani soldier had been located and detained on Armenian territory, while another was still being searched for.

On April 13, the Ministry of Defense announced that a second Azerbaijani soldier had been found and detained within Armenian territory.
