VIDEO: When Is It Allowed to Use a Smartphone at the Place of Service? Changes to the RA Armed Forces Disciplinary Code

According to the package of legislative proposals presented to you, we clarify a number of relations regarding the administrative liability for violations established by the disciplinary and military service organization laws.

In particular, amendments and additions to the disciplinary regulations of the RA Armed Forces establish training gatherings, and the type of disciplinary fine is amended, reducing the official rate from 5% to 30%, including for periods from one month to three months. Additionally, the boundaries of the authority to impose said fine are clarified.

The restrictions imposed on servicemen by law are also supplemented with a ban on using mobile phones of the smartphone type at the place of service, except for cases specified by the order of the head of the state authorized body,” said Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan during the National Assembly session.
