Video: A Scissors with Bloodstains Found Near Mher Sahakyan, Says Vardapetyan

The Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, presented a motion in the National Assembly for public prosecution against the MP from the "Hayastan" faction, Mher Sahakyan, and for stripping him of immunity.

It should be noted that on March 31, MP Mher Sahakyan physically assaulted MP Vladimir Vardanyan during a closed session of the state legal committee in the National Assembly. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 297 (hooliganism) and Article 195 (physical influence) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

"Fact-based evidence has been obtained that MP Mher Sahakyan, during a closed session of the state legal committee on March 31, demonstratively disregarded the rules of conduct and exhibited aggressive behavior. Mher Sahakyan hit the table with his hand, stood up, and yelled a reprimand at Vladimir Vardanyan, who was chairing the committee. He bypassed Alkhaz Ghazaryan, who was seated between him and Vardanyan, and intentionally struck Vardanyan on the left temple of his face with his right hand," Vardapetyan stated.
