Hayk Hovakimyan, a resident of Alaverdi, has shared a photo on his page with the accompanying caption: "I don’t know what kind of sterilization program the Alaverdi Municipality is trying to benefit from, but on April 1st, they gathered about 10 dogs from the Sanahin Station neighborhood under the pretense of taking them to a clinic in Vanadzor to sterilize and return them. Today, on April 8th, around 9:00 AM, they returned the dog depicted in the picture, which was found dead two hours later, and there is no information about the others. Is this how they operate? I am asking and urging our animal rights activists to find a solution to this issue."
