Military Training Gatherings for Reservists Set from May 1 to July 7

Military training gatherings for reservists will be held from May 1 to July 7. The draft decision was approved today by the Government of Armenia. It is noted that the purpose of these gatherings is to ensure better prepared reservists by engaging them in training activities to improve the quality of their professional readiness.

“Additionally, there arises a need to involve transportation means of appropriate type and quantity from bodies responsible for military transportation obligations to ensure the conduct of these training gatherings, including performing engineering tasks at the established frontline,” the draft states.

It is also reminded that earlier, a government decision was made to hold military training gatherings for reservists from April 15 to June 15 in Armenia.
