Relax, I love Russia and will never 'run away' from here, like some do. Mikhail Galustyan

Famous Armenian comedian and showman Mikhail Galustyan, who recently obtained Armenian citizenship, commented on the news circulating in the media about this development on his Instagram page.

“It seems that the media have ignited over the fact that I received Armenian citizenship. I want to clarify so that there are no various interpretations. First, I am Armenian and proud of it. Armenia is my historical and ethnic homeland, which I am sure will always maintain friendly and brotherly relations with Russia,” wrote Galustyan.

The showman did not wish to elaborate further, but nonetheless emphasized that he does not intend to leave Russia, as some have done. “I have many friends, work, and fans here. Russia is my homeland, and that’s final,” said the showman.

It is worth noting that he recently announced his acquisition of Armenian citizenship and stressed that he chose the most honest path by submitting his documents and obtaining it legally. He is now preparing to register somewhere.
