Production of Hazardous Food Products Suspended
Inspectors from the Shirak regional center of the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia conducted checks at the dairy production facility owned by "Amasia Leading Cheese Factory" LLC (Shirak region, Amasia village). During the inspection, samples of existing products were taken and submitted for laboratory testing.
The Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia reports that the test results revealed that the "Cream Butter" and "Lori Cheese" products did not meet the requirements of the Customs Union technical regulations on the safety of milk and dairy products, based on the criteria of ACMH and the fatty acid composition of milk fat.
The production activities of "Amasia Leading Cheese Factory" LLC have been suspended until the producer takes necessary measures to bring the products in line with the standards established by legal acts.
