1 Billion 21 Million Dram, 2 Properties in Vahagni: Will a Seizure Be Made from a Subcontractor of the North-South Project?
Another lawsuit concerning the confiscation of property of illegal origin has been accepted by the Anti-Corruption Court.
The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin of the Prosecutor General's Office has submitted a demand to the court to confiscate from S.V., a participant of the subcontractor company "Poly-Transport", an Armenian branch of the Spanish company "Corsan Corviam Construcción", which is a contractor for the "North-South Road Corridor" project, two properties located in the Vahagni neighborhood and one vehicle on behalf of the Republic of Armenia. In the event of impossibility, their average market value, which totals more than 316 million dram, will be seized.
A total of about 1 billion 21 million dram is also included as a sum of money provided as a loan, money transferred to bona fide third parties not backed by legitimate income, and the remainder of illegal income.
