Sergey Karapetyan Convicted for Murder of Aliyev Relative to Return to Homeland

A few days ago, I wrote about Sergey Karapetyan, who has been in a prison in Kherson since 2015 due to a dispute and fight with one of the representatives of the Nakhchivan mafia from Azerbaijan. As a result, one of the Azerbaijanis, who had 'conquered' and destroyed the cross-stones of Djugha, was killed.

This was mentioned by former MP Naira Zohrabyan on her Facebook page. She stated, 'After the bombing of the Kherson fortress, Sergey managed to reach Odessa on December 2, and for several months, he could not obtain the certificate required to return to his homeland, Armenia. I dealt with Sergey’s issue when I was an MP, aiming to transfer him to Armenia to serve his sentence here, but it didn’t succeed. Sergey contacted me again after the bombing in Kherson, and in summary, we have done everything possible. I discussed the issue with the Armenian ambassador in Ukraine, and now Sergey Karapetyan, our fellow countryman, has received the certificate for returning to his homeland. Let’s wait for Sergey in Armenia,' wrote Zohrabyan.
