Azerbaijan Claims to Be Engaging in Dialogue with Armenian Residents
Azerbaijan is already taking steps to reintegrate Armenian residents living in its territory, stated Baku's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ayhan Hacizada.
"Azerbaijan is engaging in dialogue with Armenian residents and has proposed to hold the next meeting in Baku as a gesture of goodwill. The Armenian side, on the contrary, has completely rejected the proposal for dialogue from the Western Azerbaijani community. This is an indicator that Armenia is not interested in peace and stability in the region and is pursuing a hypocritical policy," the Azerbaijani official declared in response to the statement released by Armenia's diplomatic agency the day before.
