Armenian Parliament Holds Closed-Door Discussion on State of Martial Law
On March 17, the Parliament of Artsakh organized a closed-door discussion on the topic of "Issues and Actions of State and Local Self-Government Bodies and Organizations in the Field of Civil Defense under Martial Law." The meeting was initiated by the Permanent Commission on Defense, Security, and Law Enforcement, with the attendance of Parliament Speaker Artur Tovmasyan.
According to reports from the Artsakh Parliament, attendees included Artsakh Prime Minister Gurgen Nercesyan, Director of the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Colonel Mekhak Arzumanyan, Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army Colonel Samvel Grigoryan, Advisor to the President Grigori Sahakyan, and Chairman of the Public Council of Artsakh Armen Gevorgyan.
