«We have given instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Armenia will appeal to the UN», says Pashinyan

“The military-political leadership of Azerbaijan is preparing for ethnic cleansing and genocide against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during today’s government meeting.

“In this regard, I find it important for Armenia to take measures to activate international mechanisms for the prevention of genocides, specifically referring to the mechanisms provided within the framework of the United Nations. I have given the appropriate instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on this matter,” said the Prime Minister.

“I have instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to initiate official negotiations with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees regarding the return of internally displaced persons to the Nagorno-Karabakh territory,” Pashinyan added.
