Preliminary Reports Indicate 21 Injured in Syunik Bus Accident Involving Schoolchildren

Preliminary reports indicate that there are 21 injured. This was announced by the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Earlier, we reported that a major traffic accident occurred in the Syunik region. On the Aradjzor highway, within the administrative territory of the village of Aradjzor, a bus transporting schoolchildren left the roadway under yet unknown circumstances and ended up upside down in a river from a height of about 5 meters.

There are numerous injuries resulting from the accident, including 9 teachers working at the school, 2 cleaning staff, and several students. The exact number of the students is still being determined.
