If Someone Raises the Issue of Integration with Azerbaijan, It Would Be Suicide: David Babayan

Ultimately, society must understand and clearly envision the legal situation and the mission it should undertake. This was stated by David Babayan, the advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, on his Facebook page.

“There are no people in Artsakh who see themselves as part of Azerbaijan. One, two, or three individuals might, let’s say, be naive, sold, or bought, but the general mass certainly does not see itself as part of Azerbaijan; it would simply be a disgrace. If anyone raises the issue of integration with Azerbaijan and makes it a point in their domestic political agenda, I believe it would be suicide at best.

People in Artsakh are resolute. Yes, it may be a very difficult path, but if we are committed to our ideas and have a strong faith in God, everything will be normal,” he noted.
