VIDEO: The Armenian Flag Installed at the Armenian-Turkish Border
At the Armenian-Turkish border, in the village of Anipemza in the Shirak region, the Armenian tricolor was installed yesterday. Before being raised, the flag was blessed by representatives of the Shirak Diocese at the Yereruyk Church. The initiative was led by members of the newly formed national movement "Vasn Hayrenats".
It is planned to install the Armenian flag on visible heights in border communities across 9 regions. According to the "Vasn Hayrenats" movement, symbolically outlining the inviolable borders of the Republic of Armenia with the state flag aims to strengthen respect for the tricolor among the youth, draw attention to border villages through public events, and unite representatives from various communities of Armenia, Artsakh, and the diaspora around nation-aimed goals.
In Anipemza, the Armenian flag was installed under the sponsorship of Susanna and Sergio Nahapetyan from Argentina.
