Flag of Russia Burned Near Georgian Parliament
A flag of Russia was burned near the Georgian Parliament building, according to Georgian media reports.
Beqa Kvachantiradze, the protester who set fire to the flag, stated that "Russia is an empire of evil." He added, "We must turn the entire Russian empire into ashes. Russia is an occupier, and there should be nothing Russian in Georgia."
It is noteworthy that protesters are gathered near the Georgian Parliament to oppose discussions regarding foreign agent legislation, which the opposition refers to as a "Russian" bill.
