Azerbaijan to Present New Lawsuit Against Armenia

Baku is preparing to file a new lawsuit against Armenia following yesterday's decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ). According to the APA agency, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov stated, "Based on the Berne Convention, the first inter-state procedure of Azerbaijan's lawsuit against Armenia regarding environmental pollution during the occupation has begun."

"The next stage we are waiting for is the arbitrator's decision that Armenia will present on behalf of that state, and the formation of the court. This court will assess the environmental crimes," Mammadov said.
