VIDEO: Do Not Let Your Children Go to Serve, Says Mother of Soldier Killed in Barracks Fire

A parent has been going from door to door seeking information, one month after the incident, asking what we know about our children’s situation. We should not be sitting at home waiting for them to tell us what happened; instead, it is the parent who, in mourning, has to go from door to door.

This statement was made today, February 20, during a protest in front of the Ministry of Defense by the mother of one of the soldiers, Gorr Martirosyan, who died in the January 19 fire at the barracks in the village of Azat.
