Borrell: "It is important that Zelensky is applauded less, but ammunition is supplied"

More ammunition should be transported to Ukraine. This call was made by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell. According to him, the Ukrainian armed forces have faced a shortage of combat ammunition, which EU countries need to help address.

Borrell noted that the European Union should initiate a technological blitzkrieg in its industry to provide its armies with weapons and ammunition as well.

"We are the army of Ukraine, as this conflict is a challenge to our security, an existential challenge. Ukraine is receiving enough weapons, but little ammunition. This is the problem; it is important that Zelensky is applauded less, but ammunition is supplied," Borrell stated.
